Our appartments and family farm Agrotourism Istria – Sopot are settled just in a base of two mediaeval towns from where in a summer eve reaches only a sounds of church bell ringing joined with sound of crickets and frogs. Peace you can feel it could be compared with deep meditation and calm which will bring you true leisure far away from city crowd and stress.
A house with pool is surrounded with meadows, fruitful fields, gardens and vineyards from where hosts made natural wine in a traditional way.
Agrotourism Istria – Sopot in it's offering includes only domestic food and it's own vegetables grown in ecological garden made for it's own needs and needs of their guests. This is very important, says the hosts, especially in a time of overflow the market with cheap imported food suspitious origin.
In a yard of two separated facilities, the one for accommodation and gastronomy one, are staying the pets, a horse, sheep, chickens, cats and dogs.
It is possible to ride a horse, helping in a household and works in a field or in the forest.
The place is also very well known by mountain biking tours. A few times in a year, a mountain biking race Downhill Gračišće is taking a place and very popular is also a circular foot path of Saint Simone which goes directly through the most famous istrian waterfall Sopot. Pićan has it's own foot path which goes from village Floričići to Sopot waterfall till the town of Pićan through the forest and it's called a foot path of Saint Rok.
Besides of the Sopot waterfall, in the neighbourhood are settled a few other waterfalls and naturally hiden brooks which you can visit with the help of the hosts.
Agrotourism Istria – Sopot offers two bycycles for a free use.
If you get bored puddling in a really big pool, in only 20 minutes you can arrive to the closest beach.
Don't forget that the east seaside has the clearest sea in a whole istrian area. It has a beautifull gravelly beaches and a lot of slews.
Rabac as east touristic center offers a big choice of touristic ship tours, mostly to Cres or to some of the slew. Gastro offer is also very good.
Agrotourism Istria – Sopot consolidates Istrian gastro specialties. It offers traditional Istrian food such as fuži, gnocchi, maneštra, wild asparagus, prosciutto, truffles, always fresh fish, domestic eggs, ecological grown vegetables all rich flavored with domestic flavour herbs and domestic wine.
You can also try a traditional balkan specialties such as čevapčići or other grilled meal.
